Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are the newest parents in town. The couple posted on social media on Sunday to announce the birth of their first child, a girl. The pair posted a joint photo along with a plain text message. “Welcome baby girl. 8.09.2024. Deepika and Ranveer.” The couple, who tied the knot in 2018 after starting dating on the Ram Leela set in 2013, had revealed their pregnancy earlier this year.
The actress is scheduled to take maternity leave until March 2025, according to news agency. A source close to the development told the portal, “Deepika and Ranveer are eagerly waiting for the upcoming chapter of their lives and are busy setting up a space for their baby. At present, Deepika is enjoying every bit of the break that she has taken from work.”
The source added, “Her maternity leave will last till March of next year. And after that, she’ll immediately get busy with filming the sequel of Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas.”
Alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat mansion, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are preparing to move to a new, opulent flat in Bandra. A widely shared video demonstrated how the construction is getting closer to completion. Beside Mannat, the new apartment is a beautiful four-story property with a view of the sea. When everything is finalised, Deepika and Ranveer are anticipated to move into their new house.
According to the most recent video update, the flat is almost finished. With a spacious 11,266 square feet of living area and an extra 1,300 square feet of private patio, the couple’s apartment will take up floors 16 through 19. The structure, which is still under construction, has stunning views of the sea and the Bandstand promenade and is located not far from Shah Rukh Khan’s villa.
On the professional front, Deepika has had a busy few years, with recent films including Pathaan, Jawan, Fighter, and Kalki 2898 AD. She is set to appear in Singham Again, which is scheduled for release during Diwali.
Ranveer Singh is currently working on Aditya Dhar’s upcoming espionage thriller, which features a cast including Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna.
