Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday asserted that the centre has allegedly put the presentation of Delhi government’s budget on hold.
Responding to the same, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the centre has demanded an explanation from AAP over it’s expenditure on advertisements before clearing the final budget.
Accusing the centre of doing “gundagardi” CM Kejriwal further said that it was the first ever instance of putting a government’s budget on hold in the history.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed that until the Delhi government gives explanation on its expenditure the budget will remain pending.
