On Friday in Begusarai, Bihar, a car carrying over a dozen schoolchildren overturned and fell into the Banty river.
The incident occurred near Surya Pura village in Bhagwanpur police station, when children from a private school were travelling in a Bolero car to school. The car’s driver lost control, and it overturned and went into the river.
All of the children were rescued from the river with the help of locals.
Three children have now been admitted to the hospital to receive medical treatment.
