Moid Khan, the accused rapist of Ayodhya and leader of the SP, is facing more severe measures from the Ayodhya district government, following the demolition of his bakery, which was allegedly built illegally. Today, the government dismantled a third of his shopping complex, which was constructed unlawfully on property owned by the government.
Based on the information at hand, the authorities already declared that Khan’s shopping complex was built by unlawfully seizing government land; thus, a third of the complex would be dismantled. They further stated that the building has been cleared out and that the illegally built structure will be destroyed today by a bulldozer.
The Ayodhya gang rape victim has undergone medical termination of her pregnancy at KGMU, Lucknow, and has since moved to a residence in Bhadarsa town with her family. This is another significant development in the case. In the meantime, security has been strengthened for her.
In order to protect the Ayodhya gang rape survivor and her family, who have allegedly been under constant threat, around thirty heavily armed and well-equipped police officers, including female constables, have apparently been strategically stationed around the clock.
A senior police officer had earlier stated, “Heavy security is being ensured for the victim’s safety and for maintenance of law and order in the area.”
