Bobby Deol Speaks On Audiences’ Disappointment Over His Limited Role In Animal

Celebrities and moviegoers alike are complimenting Bobby Deol on his performance in Animal, which debuted on Friday and has been performing incredibly well at the box office. Bobby was questioned by news agency over the excitement surrounding his Animal character, Abrar Haque, and the dissatisfaction of the public over the actor’s scant appearance in the Ranbir Kapoor film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in significant parts.

Bobby stated that he wasn’t worried about the duration of the job because his Animal character had a lot of depth. He said, “It’s not the length of the role, it is the kind of the character which has so much substance. I wish I had more scenes but when I signed the film, I knew this is what I had. At that point in my life, I was grateful to God that I was given this chance to play this role by Sandeep (Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga). I knew I had only 15 days of work and wouldn’t be there throughout the film. I was sure people would notice me, but I never realised that there will be so much love, appreciation and affection. It’s like wow! It’s amazing.”

Bobby Deol character describes himself as a man ‘obsessed’ with revenge in Animal. He claims he embraced the job with no judgement, giving his full attention to the mind of his brutal adversary. The actor thinks a spin-off based on his Animal persona would be possible.

“There should be a spin-off because people have loved the character so much,” Bobby stated. The positive feedback you receive and the want to see more of you in that role as the character is really heartwarming. It is pleasant to feel.” Bobby was recently seen crying while sitting in his car in paparazzi videos, maybe thinking back on the trip and the movie’s popularity.

Animal, which is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, stars Bobby with Triptii Dimri, Anil Kapoor, Ranbir, Rashmika, and Shakti Kapoor. The film chronicles a toxic father-son relationship set against the backdrop of crime and the underworld. The film was released in theatres on December 1 and competed at the box office with Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur. Animal has already grossed more than ₹350 crore at the worldwide box office.
