BJP Mocks Rahul Gandhi By Posting Animated Video On Twitter

On Sunday, the BJP and the Congress engaged in a video duel, with the former releasing an animation featuring Rahul Gandhi to criticise the Bharat Jodo Yatra and the latter producing a video criticising the “unfulfilled promises” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a more than two-minute-long cartoon posted on Twitter by the BJP, Rahul Gandhi is seen as the character Asrani from the Sholay film. The film makes fun of the Congress MLAs who left Goa, the politicians who left the party and joined Ghulam Nabi Azad, the infighting in Rajasthan, among other things.

“Why doesn’t suffering stop, mom? Goodbye, Tata. It’s over “In an apparent reference to Rahul Gandhi and his mother Sonia Gandhi, the BJP tweeted alongside the animation.

Jairam Ramesh, the Congress general secretary in charge of communications, responded to the action by saying, “The BJP’s most recent strategy to undermine the Bharat Jodo Yatra’s popularity. Animation: Frustration with Desperation.” To describe the video they released as pathetic would be an understatement. stated Ramesh.

Later that day, the Congress also released an animation clip in which Modi is depicted as an animation and is seen jogging around with people who are asking about gas costs, gasoline pricing, and job opportunities.

Vaada Tera Vaada, a song from the movie Dushman, is heard in the backdrop of the video.

Along with the video, the Congress tweeted in Hindi, “Dauda Dauda bhaga bhaga sa.”

The BJP has been criticising and assaulting the Yatra since it began, and the Congress has asserted that it is doing so because it is alarmed by the initiative’s success.
