Key BJP leaders held a meeting at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence at night on Wednesday, said the sources. The meeting was a strategy meet ahead the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and it had a presence of party President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah.
As per the sources, a reshuffle is expected to have been discussed at the meet which was held for around five hours.
PM Modi in his address to BJP workers in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday stressed upon implementing Uniform Civil Code across the country, which has always been on BJP’s manifestos.
Four states are having assembly elections in later part of this year – Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Out of these four states only Madhya Pradesh has BJP as ruling party. The saffron party is in bid of getting power back in the other states as well.
Last month, BJP celebrated Modi government’s ninth anniversary in which if conducted a month-long drive mass connect exercise. This was seen as a mega outreach plan of BJP ahead the Lok Sabha elections due in 2024.
