Amitabh Bachchan, a Bollywood celebrity, recently purchased a block of land near Ayodhya for his house. The Sarayu, a seven-star mixed-use community in Ayodhya, is rumoured to have been purchased by the celebrity from Mumbai-based developer The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).
According to a report, Big B has acquired a property that spans 10,000 square feet and is valued at Rs 14.5 crores. However, the builders have chosen to keep certain information private. Days remain until the official opening of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, according to this story. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has scheduled it for January 22.
The Sarayu is spread over 51 acres. Speaking about the property investment, Bachchan said in a statement, “I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart. The timeless spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya have forged an emotional connection that transcends geographical boundaries. This is a start of a heartfelt journey into the soul of Ayodhya, where tradition and modernity seamlessly co-exist, creating an emotional tapestry that resonates with me deeply. I am looking forward to building my home in the global spiritual capital.”
The Ayodhya International Airport is thirty minutes away from the property, while the Ram Temple is roughly fifteen minutes away. “His investment in our Ayodhya project reflects confidence in the city’s economic potential and a deep appreciation for its spiritual heritage,” HoABL chairman Abhinandan Lodha stated. He continued by saying that the project would become “a symbol of Ayodhya’s global spiritual significance” as a result of Big B’s engagement.
Returning to the Ram Mandir, the trust has listed 3,000 VVIPs, including Big B and Narendra Modi, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, actress Kangana Ranaut, cricket players Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, yoga master Ramdev, and businessmen Mukesh Ambai, Ratan Tata, and Gautam Adani.
