West Bengal is polling for its fourth phase of Assembly polls 2021 today. Those who are eligible for voting will vote for their candidate from 15,940 polling booths across the 44 assembly constituencies going under polling in the state.
The scheduled time for voting is from 7 am to 6:30 pm. The seat structure for the 44 constituencies up for election are is spread over South 24 Parganas (11 seats), Cooch Behar (9 seats), Howrah (9 seats), Alipurduar (5 seats) and Hooghly (10 seats).
In last elections which were held in 2016, TMC had lost 5 seats out of these 44 seats. The state is going under a huge battle as the key ministers standing up for in the fourth phase include, state ministers Aroop Biswas and Partha Chatterjee, TMC turncoat Rajib Banerjee, Union minister Babul Supriyo and BJP MPs Locket Chatterjee.
