As the monsoon of 2024 approaches, there are reports that the roof of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is “leaking.” Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of the sacred temple, expressed his “surprise” at the incident and added, “There are so many engineers here; the Pran Pratishtha was held on January 22, but there is water leaking from the roof.” No one could have imagined this.
The chief priest of Ram Mandir reportedly stated that the roof of the temple began to leak as soon as the first rains fell. Water leaks, according to Acharya Satyendra Das, began just next to the shrine of Ram Lalla.
According to Das, there is improper drainage in the recently built Ram Temple, which allows water to leak from above and collect close to the statue.
The head priest went on to talk about the Ram Mandir’s ongoing construction and voiced doubt that it will be finished by July 2025, though he did acknowledge any assertions to the contrary.
He expressed worries about the construction process and demanded action and inquiry.
The head priest’s remarks highlight concerns about fulfilling the Ram Temple building deadline of July 2025 and highlight the necessity to look into recent water leaking issues near the holy Ram Lalla idol.
The chief priest of Ram Mandir issued a warning, saying that unless the problem is resolved quickly, it may hamper prayer procedures, especially in light of the impending rise in rainfall.
On January 22, this year, the Ayodhya Ram Mandir hosted Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratistha celebration. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the ceremony, which was attended by senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders like Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath, and JP Nadda.
The INDIA Bloc performed better in Modi’s home state of Uttar Pradesh, flipping the most seats there. With eighty legislators, Uttar Pradesh has the most representatives in the legislature.
The prime minister inaugurated a contentious massive Hindu temple on the site of a demolished mosque in Ayodhya City in January, prompting the opposition to successfully steal the BJP’s seat from the party. This was a highly significant setback for Modi’s party.
