The conflict of words among Ramdev and the Indian Medical Association over the previous’ comments that “lakhs of people have died after taking allopathic medicines for Covid treatment” gives no indication of slowing down. On Wednesday, one more video of the yoga guru surfaced over social media in which he can be seen coversing with a couple of people and telling them with regards to #Arrest Ramdev patterns on social media that “nobody’s father” can capture him.
“Khair, arrest toh unka baap bhi nahi kar sakta Swami Ramdev ko (Anyway, even their father can’t arrest Swami Ramdev),” he said in the clip, adding, “They keep creating such trends, like ‘Thug Ramdev’, Mahathug Ramdev’, ‘Giraftar Ramdev’ and so on. Let them do it. Our people have become accustomed to running such trends and our trends always reach the top.”
IMA-Uttarakhand authorities said Ramdev’s remarks “smacked of arrogance”. However, police has told that no complaint has been filed against Ramdev so far in the matter.
