Raha Kapoor’s first birthday was observed on Monday by Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the company of close friends and family. A video of the birthday food and a photo of the actors grinning broadly with the cooks at Raha’s party have been released. Inside images from Raha’s birthday celebration, which took place at Ranbir’s Mumbai residence Vastu, were also shared by Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor. Shaheen Bhatt also released party insider photos.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor threw a house party to honour Raha’s first birthday. The Private Chefs Club created the party’s meal, and head chef Harsh Dixit posted a photo of his staff with Alia and Ranbir on Instagram Stories either before or after Raha’s birthday celebration. Both Alia and Ranbir were dressed in casuals. “Happy birthday Raha (cake and panda emojis),” he wrote along with the picture.
Based on Harsh’s birthday photo, it seems Raha celebrated her birthday with a panda theme. Mahesh Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor, together with their sons Jeh and Taimur Ali Khan, were present at the celebration.
The chef also shared a delicious meal on Instagram Stories, which featured items like fries, ribbon sandwiches, and Brie chilli cheese toast. In Ranbir and Alia’s kitchen, the menu was displayed along with two panda bears. Raha’s birthday party was previously teased to Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen Bhatt’s Instagram followers.
She shared a photo of a pink personalised cookie shaped like the number 1 with Raha’s name on it. “Time flies when you’re having fun. Happy Birthday my bean – there is no greater joy than loving you,” she wrote in her caption. Alia’s mother, actor Soni Razdan, too shared a glimpse of Raha’s birthday cookies on Instagram. Alia and Ranbir had also sent a birthday cake and cupcakes for the paparazzi to celebrate Raha’s birthday.
Raha’s birthday was on Monday, and Alia celebrated with a lovely post, even if Raha’s face was hidden in the pictures. She was shown in the first photo scrubbing a cake. In the third picture, the couple was holding a jukebox with Edith Piaf’s song La Vie En Rose playing, while in the second picture, Alia, Ranbir, and Raha were holding flowers in their palms.
In her caption, Alia wrote for Raha, “Our joy, our life… our light! It feels like just yesterday we were playing this song for you while you were in my tummy kicking away… there’s nothing to say only that we’re blessed to have you in our lives.. you make everyday feel like a full creamy yummy delicious piece of cake. Happy birthday baby tiger… we love you more than love itself.”
