The well-known actor and comedian Kapil Sharma is about to make his singing debut. On Sunday night, Kapil and singer Guru Randhawa announced their partnership in a post on Instagram. A poster promoting their new song was also shared by them.
Kapil sported a brown coat over a black T-shirt and dark sunglasses in the poster. Guru Randhawa appeared to be dressed in a black sweater, coat, and gloves. He chose to wear dark shades as well. It will be available on February 9.
The caption read, “We are excited to share ALONE with you all. Can’t wait the world to hear @kapilsharma paji (brother) debut song (red heart emoji). Out on 9th feb. @tseries.official @directorgifty @sanjoyd @iyogitabihani #bhushankumar.”
Mika Singh responded to the post by writing, “Kya baat hai (Wow) the 2 rock stars in one frame (raised hands emojis)” Rapper Badshah only shared an emoji of uplifted hands. Wow, said Raghav Sachar in a post. The pair received affection from fans as well. Super incredibly excited, someone wrote. “Let’s rock guru babe and Kapil…can’t wait to meet you after success this song,” another admirer said.
Recently, Guru Randhawa and Shehnaaz Gill worked together on the song Moon Rise. The song’s audio version was released last year and received a tonne of positive feedback from listeners. This month, the music video was first made public. Together with actor Anupam Kher, Guru Randhawa will make his acting debut in the upcoming comedy Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay.
Zwigato, the forthcoming film starring Kapil, will open in Indian theatres on March 17. The film, which is directed by Nandita Das and is based in Bhubaneswar, follows the experience of a food delivery worker as they discover the gig economy. The film, which was made by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives, also stars Shahana Goswami as a housewife who chooses to work for the first time in order to support her husband’s (Kapil) salary.
In September 2022, the Asian debut of Zwigato took place at the 27th Busan International Film Festival after its world premiere at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival. The film was also shown at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK).
