AAP Leaders And Activists Lead Massive Protest Against Arrest Of Manish Sisodia

Aam Aadmi Party took out to Main Gandhi Nagar roads to protest against the arrests of its former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Heath Minister Satyendra Jain as part of BJP’s misuse of central agencies.

The AAP leaders including many female activists stood at the Main Gandhi Nagar road adjoining Hotel Asia.

They carried black ribbons on their shoulders with banners and placards in their hands which were having anti-arrests slogans.

During their address to media over the protests, the AAP leaders S Gurmeet Singh Baaghi and Amit Langer strongly criticized the arrests of AAP leaders Satyendra Jain and Manish Sisodia as part of BJP’s intentional defamation of pro-people mission Delhi government.

Another AAP leader Agya Kour also criticised the continuous filing of FIRs by central agencies against the former AAP leaders.

Meanwhile, a woman activist from AAP, Sushma Malhotra alleged political enmity of BJP with AAP which hampered health care for poor and education for Dalits. She said, “BJP never wants education for poor as it is merely keen to exploit the poverty for a paid vote bank”.

The other leaders from AAP who joined in the protest included Maj Gen (Retd) JS Jamwal, Nirmala Maja na, Deep Singh, founder and National Council Member J&K, Romesh Lal Bhagat, Tripta Devi and many others.
