AAP Leader Atishi Alleges BJP Of Plotting Conspiracy To Impose President’s Rule In Delhi

Atishi, an AAP leader and minister in Delhi, has said the BJP is planning to establish President’s rule in the nation’s capital. According to the minister, it is against the will of the people and illegal.

“Permit me to caution the BJP that enforcing President’s rule in Delhi will be against the wishes of the people of Delhi as well as illegal and unconstitutional. Atishi stated during a news conference that Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party had received a clear mandate from the people of Delhi.

She restated her accusation that there is a plot to overthrow the elected government, which is why Arvind Kejriwal was detained in an alleged Delhi excise policy infractions case. The minister further mentioned that no top IAS official has been appointed in Delhi in the previous several months.

“Departments have open positions, but no posts have occurred. Citing the Model Code of Conduct, bureaucrats have withdrawn from attending meetings held by ministers, she accused.

“When we see certain things from the past, it shows that there has been a well-thought-out conspiracy going on,” she continued. Since the elections were declared, no officials have been assigned to Delhi, no officers have been transferred within Delhi, and officers no longer attend meetings. The CM’s personal secretary was fired, and for the past week, the LG has been sending bogus letters to MHA. All of this demonstrates the plot to overthrow the government in Delhi.”

Atishi stated on Thursday that the detention of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had caused “much anger” among Delhi residents, who will respond appropriately to the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

Arvind Kejriwal has petitioned the Supreme Court to overturn the Delhi High Court’s decision to dismiss his appeal against his apprehension in the excise policy infractions case involving Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate detained him on March 21 in relation to the excise policy matter. The Delhi High Court denied his appeal on Tuesday, stating that his detention was lawful and that it could not be considered “illegal,” including the remand.
