Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a webinar today will speak on the significance of education, research and development in making the country a self-reliant.
The webinar session is scheduled to take place at 10:30 am, it is a part of a webinar on announcements of Union Budget 2021-2022. The session on the significance of education will be the inauguration of the webinar. The Prime Minister will tell how the education, research and skill development can be harnessed in making of an ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.
He is likely to discuss how the new education policy, research activities and the skill development initiative such as Skill India undertaken by the government and the educational institutions are impacting the government’s initiative of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’
The scheme of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ was launched on May 12, 2020 which aims at making India a self-sufficient country.
Union Education Minister informed about the session by tweeting, “Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri @narendramodi Ji will be addressing the inaugural session on ‘Harnessing Education, Research and Skill Development for an Atmanirbhar Bharat’ on March 3 at 10:30 AM”.
The panel for the session will include leaders, industrialists and scientists.
Other than the main topic there will also be break-away session on “Using Glue Grant to Develop Education Hubs”, which will headed by Professor Ashutosh Sharma, the Secretary at the Dept. of Science and Technology.
