Director Vivek Agnihotri recently referred to Anurag as an alcoholic while narrating a story about the 2007 movie “Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal.” The director has now accused Vivek of lying after Vivek made grave accusations against Anurag.
Following Vivek’s accusations, Anurag Kashyap used social media to defend himself. Anurag shared a screenshot of a news report and wrote, ‘What a liar this man is, the shooting took place in London and I was in India. He did not want the script written by me or Motwane.’ Anurag further wrote, ‘He wanted to make the film the ‘Lagaan’ of football, so neither I nor Motwane ever went to the set of the film.’
Anurag has also received support from Vikramaditya Motwane during this entire affair. He subtly refuted Agnihotri’s claims while posting Anurag’s Instagram story. The controversy seems to be increasing further with Vikramaditya Motwane, who has been working with Anurag for a long time, giving his opinion on the matter.
Vivek Agnihotri stated in an interview that Anurag Kashyap had an alcohol addiction while working on “Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal” and that his actions had gotten out of control on the set. Vivek claims that because Anurag was late, he progressively gave Vikramaditya Motwane full responsibility for the task.
‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal’ was a sports drama film directed by Vivek Agnihotri in 2007. The main actors in the movie were Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Bipasha Basu, and John Abraham. The movie, which was produced under the UTV Motion Pictures label, only had mediocre box office results.
