In honor of the hit web series Panchayat’s anniversary, Prime Video announced today the launch of Season 4 of the comedy-drama. The new season, commemorating its 2020 debut’s five-year mark, will launch on Prime Video on July 2. The creators also published a video to disseminate the announcement through social media.
Panchayat is a comedy-drama depicting the journey of Abhishek, an engineering graduate who, facing a scarcity of job opportunities, accepts the position of secretary at a panchayat office in a remote Uttar Pradesh village. This coming season, prepare yourself to witness Abhishek, Pradhan Ji, and the cherished villagers of Phulera as they tackle new challenges and set out on eccentric escapades.
Written by Chandan Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the show features Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik and Sunita Rajwar.
