The second portion of the Budget session started on Monday, March 10, 2025, when the two Houses of the Indian Parliament met again. The government’s priorities would include obtaining support from Parliament for the grant requests, finishing the budgetary process, obtaining approval for the Manipur budget, and passing the Waqf Amendment Bill.
It is anticipated that Amit Shah, the home minister, will introduce a legislative resolution asking Parliament to approve the declaration of President’s Rule in Manipur. The Lower House was postponed till Monday at 2:00 p.m. The Rajya Sabha will start up again at 2:00 p.m.
