An tragic occurrence happened during the premiere movie Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre on RTC Road. During the midnight premiere of Allu Arjun’s movie, a horrible occurrence occurred. After the main celebrity arrived, there was a stampede that left one woman dead and at least two more hurt.
According to the report, there was a stampede-like situation when a sizable crowd approached the theatre gate prior to the movie. As soon as Allu Arjun came, fans who were anxious to see him hurried to the entrance. In an attempt to bring the mob under control, police officers used lathi charges.
Revathi, a Dilsukhnagar native, has been identified as the woman who perished in the turmoil during the premiere concert. She, her husband Bhaskar, and their two kids, Tej (age 9) and Sanvika (7), had come to see the Pushpa 2 premiere. Revathi and her son Tej passed out in the chaos when the crowd burst down the barrier. ”The 39-year-old victim fainted at the Sandhya Theatre, following which she was brought to Durga Bai Deshmukh Hospital for treatment,” police official said.
Tej, who is critically injured, has been admitted to Begumpet’s KIMS Hospital for improved care. The other injured people, including a toddler, are reportedly receiving treatment at a private hospital and their conditions are stable. For a post-mortem, Revathi’s lifeless remains were transported from Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital to Gandhi Hospital.
On Thursday, December 5, Pushpa 2: The Rule will be made available globally. It is the follow-up to the 2021 movie and features important roles for Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The movie has made Rs 100 crore in advance sales on its first day and is showing on more than 21,000 screens in India.
