As cabinet portfolios were assigned on Sunday, news agency stated that Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini kept his positions in the Finance and Home ministries.
Saini is in charge of twelve portfolios. Apart from home and finance, he oversees all departments’ planning, information, public relations, language and culture, urban estates, planning, excise and taxation, criminal investigation, law and legislative affairs, and housing.
In a lavish ceremony held in Panchkula on Thursday, Nayab Singh Saini took the oath of office as the chief minister of Haryana, commencing his second term. After the BJP’s historic triumph in the October 5 assembly elections, he was reappointed. After winning 48 of the 90 seats, the party was able to win three terms in a row in power. In the meanwhile, 37 seats were won by the Congress.
Anil Vij , the energy and transport ministries, as well as the labour department, have been allocated to this Punjabi-Khatri MLA from Ambala Cantt. When Manohar Lal Khattar served as chief minister, he held the position of home portfolio. Given the health portfolio, Arti Singh Rao is a new Member of Parliament from the Ahir and backward class (B category) in Ateli, Mahendergarh district. Another Ahir and backward class (B) MLA from Badshahpur in the Gurugram district, Rao Narbir Singh is in charge of business, industry, the environment, forests, and wildlife. Arvind Kumar Sharma is a Brahmin Member of Parliament from Gohana, Sonepat, who oversees the cooperation and jail responsibilities. The development of women and children is the responsibility of Shruti Choudhry , a Jat MLA from Tosham in the Bhiwani district. The department of school education was assigned to Mahipal Dhanda. Vipul Goel, considering the departments of civil aviation, urban local bodies, and revenue and catastrophe management. Shyam Singh Rana, will oversee the department of agriculture and farmer welfare. The portfolio for public health engineering was given to Ranbir Gangwa. Krishan Kumar Bedi is in charge of SC and BC welfare, empowerment, and social justice. Krishan Lal Panwar is assigned with departments for geology and mining, as well as panchayats and development. Rajesh Nagar is the Minister of State (Independent Charge) in charge of consumer affairs, civil supplies, and food. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the departments of sports, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment is Gaurav Gautam .
On the chief minister’s recommendation, the governor of Haryana assigned these ministries to the Council of Ministers members.
