Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Others Shine at ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ Screening

The producers of the eagerly anticipated Netflix movie Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba held a special screening in Mumbai on Thursday night before its official release. Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu, Sunny Kaushal, and Jimmy Shergill, the film’s lead cast, came at the event in style. Posing on the red carpet with his parents Sham and Veena Kaushal and Sunny, Sunny’s older brother Vicky stole the show. The brothers Kaushal twinned in black. They struck a pose for the camera. Taapsee, the leading lady, also wore black that evening. Taapsee enhanced her look by accessorising her black dress with a scarlet belt that resembled a bow. On the red carpet, she posed with her best friend and Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba writer, Kanika Dhillon. The latest cast members in the Haseen Dilruba 2021 film sequel are Jimmy Shergill and Sunny Kaushal.

Sharad Kelkar, filmmaker Anand L Rai, and Dia Mirza were among the other guests. Taapsee reproduced the iconic posture from her other upcoming film, Khel Khel Mein, for the photographers to capture a picture-perfect moment. August 15 is when the movie opens in theatres.

The follow-up to Haseen Dilruba debuted exclusively on Netflix in July 2021 and is titled Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. The film’s main cast included Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu, and Harshvardhan Rane. Both reviewers and viewers have differing opinions about this complex story of love and retaliation. In the upcoming episode, Taapsee (Rani) and Vikrant (Rishu) will play their respective parts again.

Sharing the challenges of re-creating the frenzy around the character Rani, Taapsee told media, “Apart from that, performance-wise, it was not that challenging, as after doing the first part, I knew what the audience liked about the character and what not. So, this time I got a chance for the correction. I approached Part Two (Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba) with more confidence than I did with Part One (Haseen Dillruba). I hope the audience feels the same way. This time the character is darker, and edgier and the stakes are high.”
