Bihar CM Nitish Kumar And RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav Head Towards Delhi Ahead Govt Formation At Centre

Following the close scores in Lok Sabha elections 2024 results, both Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav are heading towards Delhi in the wake of forming government at the centre.

The duo are expected to join the meetings held by BJP-led NDA and opposition’s INDIA bloc.

As per the final results as announced by the Election Commission of India on Tuesday, BJP secured total 240 seats falling short of majority mark of 272, while Congress could only secure 99.

Despite failing to perform as per the expectations and unexpected results from States like Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, the Narendra Modi led BJP is expected to form government at the centre for the third straight term.

However, opposition’s INDIA bloc was nothing less in its performance this time in results.

The 2024 election results were too different from the 303 and 282 majority marks of 2019 and 2014 respectively.
