Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora, a Bollywood couple, split up. For a few years now, the pair had been in a committed relationship. A source claims that Arjun and Malaika have broken up, despite the fact that they have not commented on the split. Their “relationship has run its course,” the insider continued. In 2019, the couple revealed their romance to the public.
“Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship,” a source told news agency.
“They had a long, loving, fruitful relationship that has unfortunately run its course now. That doesn’t mean there is any bad blood between them. They respect each other hugely and have been a pillar of strength for each other. Over the years, they have given their relationship a lot of respect. They will continue to give each other the same respect despite them deciding to part ways. Both of them were in a serious relationship for years, and they expect people to be gracious enough to give them space at this emotional time,” the insider added.
2019 saw Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor make their relationship public during an India’s Most Wanted screening. They disclosed their romance to the public on social media as well. They frequently exchanged posts with each other in them.
Arjun and Malaika were subject to breakup rumours last year. Malaika and Arjun were in the news after it was claimed that Arjun and Malaika have split and the actor was dating social media influencer turned actress Kusha Kapila. However, at the time, Kusha denied all rumours while Arjun and Malaika confirmed they are still together.
Malaika and Arjun shared a 12-year age difference. They were often trolled for their age difference. Appearing on one of the seasons of Koffee With Karan, Arjun said, “What is important to understand is that you will be affected. There is no person that is not being affected, it is about dealing with it. It also shows their (trolls’) upbringing and their culture. Those people that are putting up random comments, you also know that they are trying to get your attention. So earlier, I used to get a bit worked up and wanted to respond all the time. Then I realised that I have to allow it to sink in, to understand what the reason is why these desperate people are trying to get my attention, and try to detach myself from their reaction. Does it affect me? Yes it does… they (trolls) might be doing it get likes.”
