Diljit Dosanjh Scripts History By Selling Out Largest Ever Punjabi Show On North America Leg ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’

Music by Diljit Dosanjh, from Lover to Hass Hass, has shot the singer to fame. His songwriting diversity has enthralled everyone and will continue to do so. His songs, whether they’re from Black & White, 5 Taara, or Crew’s Naina, are performed everywhere and at every occasion. On the North American leg of his “Dil-Luminati Tour,” the actor and singer, who is now enjoying the success of his latest film Amar Singh Chamkila, wrote history by selling out the largest-ever Punjabi event outside of India.

Dosanjh welcomed more than 50,000 fans to the BC Place stadium in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday night to launch his tour. He sang hits including “GOAT,” “5 Taara,” “Lover,” “Kinni Kinni,” and “Ishq Mitaye,” which is a hit song from his most recent movie, “Amar Singh Chamkila.”

The singer even shared a bunch of pictures on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “History has been written…BC Place Stadium…Sold out.” Excited fans took to comment section to laud the singer for coming this far in his career. One user wrote, “Legend for a reason”. Another user wrote, “had best day of my life at the concert”. “Divine energy”, wrote the third user. In the same post, a video of general manager of BC Place can be seen handing over a congratulatory plaque to Dosanjh for the “largest ever Punjabi show outside India”. Dosanjh also shared a video on his Instagram Stories showing a massive billboard of his show with “Sold Out” written across.

“HISTORY is made. Take a bow, @diljitdosanjh,” said BC Place in a post on X. As part of his tour, Dosanjh will now head to Calgary, Winnipeg, and Edmonton in Canada, before heading to the US. He will end the North American leg of his trek in Toronto on July 13.

Recently, cricket players as well as Bollywood celebs attended Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Mumbai. Recently, Diljit Dosanjh appeared in the movie Amar Singh Chamkila. The character Amar Singh Chamkila is based on an individual of the same name who is referred to as Punjab’s Elvis Presley. In the Punjabi music industry at the time, Chamkila sold the most tracks.

In the past, thousands of people attended Chamkila’s programmes to hear him and his spouse Amarjot speak. Even though Chamkila passed away at the age of 27, his Akharas will be heard in the movie once more. Parineeti Chopra plays the lead female role in Amar Singh Chamkila, which is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The movie debuted on April 12 of this year on the over-the-top platform Netflix.
