PM Modi To Embark On 10-Day Visit To 12 States Ahead Lok Sabha Polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin a 10-day tour to 12 states and union territories (UTs) across the nation on Monday, March 4, to address 29 events ahead of the highly anticipated Lok Sabha elections.

In an effort to win over voters for the next parliamentary elections, Modi is scheduled to visit Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Delhi over the course of the next ten days.

March 4: Modi will travel to Telangana, where he will present a number of public meetings and unveilings of development projects in Adilabad. Following that, he will travel to Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, where he would visit Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) and give a speech at a public gathering in Chennai. He’s going to Hyderabad later in the day.

March 5: He will attend a number of events and launch a number of projects in Sangareddy, Telangana, on day two. This will be followed by a speech to the public. After a public speech in Chandikhole, he will go to Odisha, where he will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the cornerstone of several development projects at Chandikhole, Jajpur. He is going to leave for West Bengal later today.

March 6: This Wednesday, Modi will visit West Bengal, the stronghold of Mamata Banerjee. There, he will lay the groundwork for several development projects valued at Rs. 15,400 crore, including the Howrah Maidan-Esplanade Metro section of Kolkata Metro, as well as speak to a public gathering in Barasat. He would then travel to Bihar to attend a number of inauguration ceremonies in Bettiah that are estimated to be worth Rs. 12,800 crore.

March 7: On the fourth day of his tour, Modi will go to Jammu and Kashmir, a former state that is now a union territory. There, he will speak at a public gathering at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium. This will be PM Modi’s first trip to the Kashmir valley since the August 2019 repeal of Article 370. Though, he had visited Jammu last month to inaugurate several development projects. He will later attend a media event in New Delhi.

March 8: He revealed his participation in the inaugural National Creator’s Award in Delhi on his most recent episode of Mann ki Baat, his monthly radio talk show for the public. He would take part in the event on day five. Later on, he is scheduled to fly to Assam in the evening for multiple development initiatives.

March 9: Prime Minister Modi will visit the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday to cut the ribbon on the Sela Tunnel in West Kameng. He will then attend a number of launch events in the state’s capital, Itanagar. He will next travel to Assam, where he will inaugurate the Lachit Barphukan statue in Jorhat and lay the groundwork for several development initiatives. Later in the day, PM Modi will visit West Bengal to inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects in Siliguri, followed by a public address.

March 10: Prime Minister Modi will visit Azamgarh, the stronghold of the Samajwadi Party, in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday to attend a number of events. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath travelled to the city on Sunday in advance of the PM’s arrival to assess the state of preparations at the potential location of the public gathering at Manduri Airport.

March 11: On the eighth day, Prime Minister Modi will be in the nation’s capital to attend the “Lakhpati Didi” and “Namo Drone Didi” events. The prime minister will later attend a DRDO function in the evening and open the Dwarka Expressway’s Haryana segment.

March 12: On day 9, PM Modi will travel to Sabarmati in Gujarat. He will next travel to Rajasthan and visit Pokhran, which is located in the Jaisalmer district.

March 13: As the final event of his tour, Prime Minister Modi will use video conference to lay the groundwork for three semiconductor projects in Gujarat and Assam. This will be followed by an outreach initiative aimed at assisting underprivileged groups in society.

In an attempt to draw attention to his government’s development and welfare agenda ahead of this year’s general elections, which are scheduled for April and May, PM Modi has been busy launching a number of development projects worth lakhs of crores of rupees across the country.

In the meantime, the BJP has unveiled its eagerly anticipated initial list of 195 candidates for the parliamentary elections, which includes well-known figures like Amit Shah from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and PM Modi from Varanasi.
