On Thursday morning, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the Bollywood couple, revealed their impending parenthood on Instagram! The couple posted a picture of baby clothes and shoes on Instagram with the words “September 2024” scribbled in the centre of the image. We can safely assume that Deepika will give birth in this month.
For a while now, there have been circulating rumours on social media that Deepika is expecting. Her purported stomach cover-up while sporting a glittering saree at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) sparked the rumours. Deepika Padukone was wearing custom jewellery and a couture saree made by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Previously, Deepika had expressed her and Ranveer’s fondness for children and also some anticipation for when they would begin their own family. In an interview, she had shared that she is a daughter and a sister above all else, and that she wants to maintain that. “My family keeps me rooted, and Ranveer and I aspire to instill similar values in our children,” Deepika had said.
