Numerous instances of groping, inappropriate touching, and physical contact have occurred during competitions, warm-ups, and even in the New Delhi office of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). The Indian Express has learned that they have been mentioned in allegations made by two of the seven adult female wrestlers against the federation’s head, BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
At least eight incidences are listed in the two distinct complaints that were submitted on April 21 to the Connaught Place police station in New Delhi.
The Indian Express has learned that both complainants have described how Singh allegedly touched them indecently and sexually while pretending to check their respiratory patterns.
