Actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik breathed last on Thursday morning as he suffered major heart attack. His close friend and actor Anupam Kher shared the news.
“I know that death is the ultimate truth of this world! But I had not thought even in my wildest dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend someday. Such a sudden full stop to a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH!” said Mr Kher in a tweet.
“He felt uneasy and he told driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1 am,” he told media.
The 66-year-old actor-filmmaker completed his studied at National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India.
He played lead roles in Udta Punjab, Deewana Mastana, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron and Mr India. He directed movies like Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and Tere Naam.
