Taking to her social media handle, Deepika Padukone on Thursday night announced that she will be presenting an awards at Oscars 2023. India is nominated in three categories – Documentary Feature, Documentary Short and Original Song.
At the celebration, the actress will be joining with Samuel L Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Zoe Saldana, Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Melissa McCarthy, Glenn Close and Michael B Jordon among others.
The 95th Oscars scheduled to held on March 12 in Los Angeles will be special for India as the nominated hit dance track Naatu Naatu from SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster RRR is the frontrunner in the category of original song.
Meanwhile, All That Breathes by Shaunak Sen is nominated for Documentary Feature and Elephant Whisperers by Guneet Monga is nominated for Documentary Short.
Earlier, Deepika Padukone has even represented India as jury at the 75th Cannes Film Festival 2022.
On December 18, she even unveiled FIFA World Trophy in Lusail Stadium ahead the final match between Argentina and France.
At the work front, she is presently shooting for sci-fi film featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas along with her. She even got a big success for Pathaan, co-starring Shah Rakh Khan.
