Following the announcement of her engagement to Samajwadi Party leader Fahad Ahmad, Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has faced abuse and condemnation. Her marriage not only prompted a discussion about its legality, but it also attracted criticism from several Hindu leaders.
Ayodhya Mahant Raju Das recently sparked a controversy when he said about Swara and Muslims that they are “a community where brothers and sisters get married.” Additionally, he claimed that because she married a Muslim, she would be having sleepovers with 1,000 different males.
Raju Das added that if Swara Bhasker was an emancipated woman, she shouldn’t have gotten married in the first place. Just ten days before her wedding, he asserted that Swara had referred to her future spouse as her brother.
But if she wishes to spend the night with 1,000 men, congrats to her. Raju Das said, “Because she wed into a community where siblings and sisters marry and then perform talaq, talaq, talaq.
“Swara Bhasker has publicly sung Bharat tere tukde honge and Insha Allah. Ten days ago, she wed a man she referred to as “bhai,” and she urged him to marry shortly, according to Ayodhya Mahant.
The Ayodhya Mahant’s remark comes just one day after Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Sadhvi Prachi criticized actress Swara Bhasker for marrying Samajwadi Party’s Fahad Ahmad and warned that she might suffer the same fate as Shraddha Walker, who was murdered in Delhi by her live-in companion.
Swara should have seen the refrigerator before deciding to wed a Muslim guy, according to Sadhvi Prachi. She was alluding to the notorious murder case in which Shraddha’s body was cut into 35 fragments and kept in a refrigerator before the suspects dumped the body parts in a jungle.
“It’s likely that Swara Bhasker was unaware of the news that Shraddha’s corpse had been cut into 35 pieces. Before making such a major choice, she ought to have once again inspected the refrigerator. She has chosen it on her own. I don’t have much to say. But Swara could also experience what occurred to Shraddha, the VHP leader argued.
“Swara Bhasker has consistently opposed Hinduism. I had no doubt that she would wed a non-religious person. This has already occurred. She wed a Muslim, Sadhvi Prachi continued.
On February 16, Swara Bhasker declared her engagement to politician Fahad Ahmad, sparking a flurry of discussion on social media in which Islamic scholars questioned the legality of the union under Sharia law. It should be noted that Swara rejects Islam.
