A romantic story is promised in the much-anticipated love movie Love Again’s new trailer. The movie, which also stars Sam Heughan, centres on a bereaved Priyanka who decides to try love again after suffering a loss. It’s interesting to note that Priyanka’s real-life husband, singer-actor Nick Jonas, makes a brief appearance in the movie and shares an embarrassing kiss with her.
Priyanka’s Mira, who struggles to move on with her life following the death of her boyfriend, is first seen in the trailer. She continues to SMS Rob Burns at the previous number, which is now Sam’s new work phone.
Rob, a journalist, is captivated by Mira’s openness and sadness in her texts as she discusses her past scars. He naturally develops feelings for her. She assists Rob in finding Mira after he is given the task of writing an article about the singer Celine Dion. At an opera night, Rob and Mira run into each other and click. Rob, however, finds it difficult to admit that he fell in love with Mira through texts.
Sam Heughan and Priyanka also share a passionate kiss in the trailer. What if the love of your life was introduced to you through a chance text message? In this romantic comedy, Mira Ray, who is grieving the death of her fiancé, writes a string of loving texts to his former mobile number, not understanding that the number has been transferred to Rob Burns’ new work phone. Rob, a journalist, is enthralled by the transparency of the elegantly confessional texts. He asks Celine Dion for advice on how to meet Mira in person and win her over when he’s asked to write a biography of the megastar, who is actually playing herself in the movie.
Jim Strouse is the director of Love Again. On May 12, 2023, it is expected to be released in theatres. The movie was formerly known as Text for You and It’s All Coming Back to Me and is based on the 2016 German film SMS fur Dich by Karoline Herfurth. It is supported by Screen Gems, while Sony Pictures handles distribution.
