Mahua Moitra, a Trinamool MP, brought up the Adani controversy in her motion of appreciation on the President’s Address in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday and launched a harsh attack on the administration. Mahua Moitra reiterated the need to start a thorough probe of the Adani Group “I want to discuss the most well-known Indian today. Unfortunately, it is not the honourable Prime Minister, which is bad news for this House. He has a name that begins with an A and finishes with an I. And it’s not Advani, either. Let’s just refer to him as Mr. A for the purposes of this speech and his group A firm, “added the Trinamool MP.
In the midst of protests, Mahua Moitra pulled out a red birthday cap and declared, “Mr. A has topi-pehnau-ed this great nation.”
Mahua Moitra cited the Adani Group’s claim that the Hindenburg report was an attack on India and said: “Even Google, Amazon, and Microsoft don’t make such returns similar to company A “Was it not an attack on India when a Russian company took over an oil refinery business? Was the takeover of Mumbai’s energy, paid for with cash from Qatar, not an attack on India? The strength of its institutional institutions, rather than the wealth of a single person, is what makes India proud.”

Mahua concluded by adding that everyone is wondering whether Ambani, the Chinese, or JP Morgan are behind her as her address was met with objections and disruptions from the Treasury benches. The MP declared, “Mahua is behind the truth; nobody is behind Mahua.”
Following Mahua Moitra’s speech, members of the BJP and Trinamool engaged in heated discussions during which Mahua was overheard using expletives. Mahua Moitra was asked to apologise by Union minister Pralhad Joshi for the insulting remark. Pralhad Joshi stated, “I would beg them to apologise, but if she doesn’t, then it’s their culture.”
