For seasoned actor Anupam Kher, 2022 proved to be a monumental year. The actor has played Uunchai in The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya 2, and many recent films. Kher is currently receiving praise for his outstanding performance in the Sooraj Barjatya-helmed film, which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and other key players. He is currently, however, in the news for allegedly making fun of John Abraham.
The actor was observed becoming irritated in March of this year when a journalist questioned him about The Kashmir File’s popularity.
Anupam Kher recently made an appearance on The Bombay Journey podcast of Mashable, where he was questioned about the genre he would like to try his hand at right now. He responded by showing off his muscles. The host replied, “But we expect that from John,” when he made the comparison to John Abraham. With all due respect, try giving him one of my monologues: usse mere jitna lamba conversation bulwa lo na.
Anupam Kher continued, “I’m sure he can accomplish it. I believe it’s vital to disrupt the mould because actors occasionally become too enamoured with themselves. John has such a fantastic figure, but I also believe he has amazing acting talent, so you can anticipate great action from him. He complies.
His remarks, however, came months after John Abraham was spotted becoming irritated by media inquiries. When journalists questioned him about the “over dose” of actions in the movies and his toned physique, he was spotted responding angrily.
On the occasion, he was overheard saying, “I’m talking about Attack. Main toh Attack ki baat kar raha hun. I apologise if this causes you any trouble. You really got me wrong. I’m trying to be mentally as well as physically fit so that I can respond to some absurd questions because people are so stupid. I’m sorry, sir, but I have to go. For you, I’m sorry. Please accept our sincere apologies; we know you’ll behave yourself better moving forward.
