The Salaam Venky trailer, starring Kajol and Revathy, was released on Monday. The movie follows a devoted mother (Kajol) and her son Venky (Vishal Jethwa) as they deal with all of the difficulties that life and circumstance throw their way. The emotional moments in the trailer are numerous. Another highlight of the trailer has to be the celebrity Aamir Khan cameo, who enters at the very end and simply stares into the camera without saying anything. After the trailer was released, fans couldn’t contain their excitement, and the numerous tweets show how happy Aamir Khan supporters are.
The third movie Aamir Khan and Kajol have made together is Salaam Venky. Together, they appeared in the 2006 album Fanaa. They also appeared together in the 1997 movie Ishq.
A fan tweeted, “Aamir-Kajol after so long.” sixteen years, exact. Another tweet stated, “Even in a cameo, Aamir Khan vows to steal our hearts. Another Twitter user commented, “Totally what I lived for to watch Aamir Khan, Kajol.”
Kajol posted the movie’s trailer on social media and stated: “Prepare to live a life the magnitude of Venky. The trailer for Salaam Venky is currently available. launching on December 9 in local theatres.”
The Revathi-directed film Salaam Venky will open in theatres on December 9.
The movie also stars Aahana Kumra, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, and Anant Mahadevan in addition to Kajol and Vishal Jethwa.
Aamir Khan’s most recent film, the Hindi version of the beloved Forrest Gump by Robert Zemeckis, is Laal Singh Chaddha (which featured Tom Hanks in the titular role). Advait Chandan was the director of the Hindi version. Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh also starred in the movie.
