To guarantee the successful implementation of all government programs and welfare projects, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has assigned different districts to Cabinet Ministers.
The Chief Minister said today that these Ministers will monitor the progress of these districts in addition to making sure that the advantages of the government’s people-centric and growth-oriented programs are distributed to the populace. He said that in addition to advancing development in these districts, these Ministers will assure fast settlement of public grievances. Bhagwant Mann stated that his administration is dedicated to the welfare of the populace and the advancement of the state, adding that no effort is spared in this regard.
The Chief Minister announced that PWD Minister Harbhajan Singh will be in charge of Ferozepur and Moga districts, while Finance Minister Harpal Cheema will be in charge of Patiala, Higher Education Minister Meet Hayer will be in charge of Amritsar and Tarn Taran, Social Security Minister Dr. Baljeet Kaur will oversee Bathinda and Mansa districts, and Higher Education Minister Meet Hayer will be in charge of Amritsar and Tarn Taran. Lal Chand, the minister of food and civil supplies, will oversee the Ludhiana district, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, the minister of rural development, will oversee the Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts, and Laljeet Singh Bhullar, the minister of transportation, will oversee the Sangur district, according to him.
The Chief Minister also announced that Minister of Revenue Brahm Shankar will be in charge of the districts of Ropar and SAS Nagar, Minister of Justice Harjot Singh Bains will be in charge of the district of Hoshiarpur, and Minister of Housing and Urban Development Aman Arora will be in charge of the districts of Fatehgarh Sahib and Muktsar.
Additionally, he stated that Minister of Defence Services Fauja Singh will oversee the districts of Faridkot and Fazilka while Minister of Local Government Dr. Inderbeer Singh Njjar will oversee the district of Jalandhar. Similar to how Chetan Singh Jauremajra will be in control of Malerkotla and Barnala, Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann will be in charge of SBS Nagar, according to Bhagwant Mann.
