India Records 2,897 Fresh Covid-19 Cases In Last 24 Hours, Health Minstry Data Shows

According to data updated by the Union Health Ministry, India recorded 2,897 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 4,31,10,586, while active cases fell to 19,494.

According to today’s figures, the death toll has risen to 5,24,157, including 54 new deaths.

According to the government, active cases are for 0.05 percent of total infections, with a national COVID-19 recovery rate of 98.74 percent.

In the last 24 hours, the active COVID-19 caseload has decreased by 143 cases. According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate was 0.95 percent and the weekly positivity rate was 0.82 percent.

COVID-19 active cases in West Bengal have dropped to 395.

Officials in West Bengal reported 25 additional COVID-19 cases on Wednesday.

The optimism percentage fell to 0.27 percent from 0.68 percent the day before. According to them, the additional cases were discovered after evaluating 9,303 samples.

There are currently 395 active cases in the state, which is 22 fewer than Tuesday’s total because more people have been found in the last 24 hours. 47 fresh recoveries were recorded by the state.

According to data supplied by the health department here, Delhi reported 970 new Covid cases and one more death on Wednesday, while the positive rate fell to 3.34 percent. The optimism percentage in Delhi has fallen below four percent for the first time since April 15. On April 15, the city had 366 new COVID-19 cases and zero deaths, with a positive rate of 3.95 percent.

According to the latest health report, the number of COVID-19 infections in Delhi has climbed to 18,97,141, with a death toll of 26,184.
