With better interconnectivity of expressways every end of Uttar Pradesh will now end to Lucknow and Delhi. The expressway will start from Bijauli village in Meerut and extend up to Judapur Dandu village in Priyagraj.

The laying of foundation stone by the Prime Minister will begin at 12 pm at the Railway Ground Rauza from Sahajahanpur.

The Ganga expressway will pass through total twelve districts – Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Unnao, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Sambhal, Amroha, Bulandshahr and Hapur.

At the expressway, seven railway overbridges, 375 underpasses and 14 major bridges will also be constructed.

At the development front, the expressway will open doors for industries, agriculture, commerce and tourism as it will act as the biggest corridor to connect production units, development centres and agricultural production centres to the national capital.

This longest expressway will play a pivotal role in establishing the warehousing, agricultural markets, milk-based industries and food processing units.
