A terrorist from Hizbul Mujahideen has been killed in an encounter in Rajpura area of Pulwama, Jammu Kashmir.
The terrorist named Feroz Ahmad Dar was active since 2017 and he was a resident of Heff-Shrimal in Shopian district.
As he joined the terrorist ranks back in 2017, he was part of many militancy-related activities in the region.
His encounter began at around 12 am between Tuesday and Wednesday night in Usgan Pathri in Pulwama.
Another terrorist from Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) was killed in an encounter on 12 December, with security forces in Pulwama district. The terrorist named Sameer Ahmad Tantray was a resident of Baragam.
According to the police, Tantray was earlier a terrorist associate and used to provide logistical support to all active terrorists in the arearea.
