Taking to her Instagram handle, actress Kangana Ranaut has lauded rich and successful women of film industry for breaking the stereotypes by marrying younger men. She comes up with her statement amid the wedding festivities of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal.
In her story on her social media she wrote, “Growing up, we heard many stories of successful rich men marrying much younger women… For women to be more successful than their husband was seen as a major crisis, forget marrying a younger man after a certain age, marriage was impossible for women …. Nice to see rich and successful women, leading ladies of Indian film industry breaking the sexist norms…. Kudos to men and women both for redefining gender stereotype.”
Katrina Kaif, who is older than Vicky Kaushal is tying knot with the actor in a royal fort in Rajasthan on December 9. After their sangeet and mehendi ceremony, the lovebirds are expected to take wedding oaths tomorrow in the attendance of their families and friends.
Recently, Kangana, too, has expressed her wish of getting married soon. In an interview with Times Now, the actress was asked where she sees herself five years from now. Replying to the same, she said,
In an interview, Ms Ranaut was asked where she sees herself in next five years, replying to same she too expressed her wish to be married soon and said, “I definitely want to be married and have babies. I see myself as a mother five years down the line and as a wife, and of course as someone who is actively participating in the vision of new India.” And when she was asked about her partner she said, “You will know soon.”
