Yash Raj Films is now projecting into releasing digital content (over-the-top or OTT) landscape of India. YRF’s streaming content creation business will be called YRF Entertainment and it will produce five marquee projects to start in its first year. The first large undertaking to hit the floors from the banner is titled The Railway Men –a tribute to the railway workers at Bhopal station who are the unsung heroes of the 1984 Bhopal gas misfortune, the world’s greatest man-made industrial disaster. YRF declared this project on the same day to salute the legends of Bhopal who saved thousands of lives when the emergency hit the city 37 years back. The Railway Men is being coordinated by debutant Shiv Rawail, who has been local at YRF and is being guided by Aditya Chopra.
Shiv will begin the procedures at YRF Entertainment with his content-forward one-season restricted series about the flexibility of human spirit in the form of disaster. The Railway Men will include four briliant actors like R. Madhavan, Kay Menon, Divyenndu Sharma and Babil Khan. These four actors steerage the show and the organization will likewise declare the presence of a few other amazing performers time to time. The Railway Men started shooting from December first, yesterday.

In the late hours of December 2, 1984, methyl isocyanate gas spilled from a pesticide factory possessed by the American Union Carbide Corporation. It has been accounted for that the over a half million individuals were harmed that evening and the authority loss of lives of officials surpassed 5,000.
Thousands of survivors have said they, their children and grandchildren are battling with constant medical problems like blindness, respiratory, cancer, neurological and immune issues because of the leak.
YRF Entertainment’s The Railway Men will stream on December 2, 2022, as a tribute to mankind and colossal sacrifice right after an emergency that shook the country.
