Today, March 11 (IST), the 96th Academy Awards were held in Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel, a well-known host of late-night shows, once again presented the event. Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan, took home the most accolades (7), including Best Picture and Best Actor. Poor Things, starring Emma Stone, came in second, winning numerous times as well. Emma Stone received her second career Oscar in the Best Actress category, which she won with Poor Things. It had been won by her for La La land before.
