The seven day religious rituals for Ayodhya Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony will finally commence today on 16 January till 21 January. The idol of Ram Lalla will be placed in the sanctum sanctorum on January 18.
The ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony for Ram Lalla will finally take on place on scheduled date that is 22 January in Ayodhya.
Ayodhya is considered to be the place of high historical, cultural and spiritual significance as it is the birth place of Lord Ram.
According to the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra during the seven-day ritual Dwadash Adhivas protocols will be followed along with many other ceremonies that will take place each day.
On January 18, the idol of Lord Ram will be placed at the ‘Garbh Griha’ inside the temple.
The Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratistha’ is scheduled to take place on the auspicious Abhijit Muhurta of Paush Shukla Dwadashi at 12.20 pm on January 22 and it is expected to end by 1 pm.
The General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Champat Rai during a press conference said the muhurat (auspicious timing) was decided by Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid of Varanasi.
