Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu on Monday announced that the accused in the bomb attack in Istanbul’s Istiklal Avenue is finally under the arrest of Police. The place where the blast took place is a big local pedsetrian pathway and also a tourist place of the capital city.
Soon after the announcement of the Interior Minister, Anadolu Agency also shared the news taking to their Twitter handle early morning today.
The deadly explosion on Sunday killed six people – four on the spot while, two were during the treatment at hospital. The Turkish President who was just leaving for the G-20 summit in Bali said, the explosion was something that “smells like terrorism”, and that those responsible will soon bhi punished.
Apart from the deceased, the attack also left around 81 people injured. Turkey had last witnessed this type of deadly blast during 2015 and 2017.
