4 Indian-Origin Arrested In Human Trafficking In Princeton, 15 Women Rescued

Four Indian-origin people were arrested in allegrd human trafficking case in Princeton in Texas in the US on Monday.

As per the reports, the arrested include Anil, 37, Dwaraka Gunda, 31, Santhosh Katkoori, 31 and Chandan Dasireddy, 24 for allegedly running a “forced labour” scheme.

The incident came to light after 15 women were found living in the same home were seen sleeping on the floor, said the Princeton Police.

The Princeton Police said, in March they received a complaint from pest control department about the alleged human trafficking racket ag a house in Ginsburg Lane in Collin County, following which a probe was launched.

Officials from the pest control department were summoned in the house in March but when the police officials went inside the house they found 15 women sleeping on the floor and also there were “large amounts of suitcases”, said the Princeton Police.

Police also said, that there were many computer electronics and blankets in the house but there was no furniture.

All the 15 women were rescued from the house and they revealed that they were forced to work for many of the shell companies owned by Katkoori and his wife Dwaraka Gunda.
