3 Earthquakes Hit Jaipur In Just 30 Minutes In Early Hours Of Friday

In the early hours of Friday, Jaipur experienced three earthquakes within a 30-minute period.

The most recent earthquake, measuring magnitude 3.4, was recorded at roughly 4.25 am, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). The NCS states that it happened at a depth of 10 miles.

The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.4, Occurred on 21-07-2023, 04:25:33 IST, Lat: 26.87 & Long: 75.69, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.”
An earlier 3.1-magnitude earthquake with a depth of 5 km was felt at 4.22 am.

The NCS tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.1, Occurred on July 21, 2023, 04:22:57 IST, Latitude: 26.67 & Longitude: 75.70, Depth: 5 Km, Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.”

Prior to it, a 10-kilometer-deep earthquake was felt around 4.09 am.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.4, Occurred on July 21, 2023, 04:09:38 IST, Lat: 26.88 & Long: 75.70, Depth: 10 Km,” the NCS had tweeted. Jaipur, Rajasthan, India is the location.

There are currently no recorded reports of casualties or damages.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje tweeted in response to the tremors, “Earthquake tremors have been felt at different places in the state including Jaipur. I hope everyone is secure.
