On Tuesday, two Go First aircraft from Srinagar and Delhi were diverted to the Surat airport in Gujarat. The aircraft’s occupants were present when it touched down in Surat. Rupesh Kumar, the director of Surat Airport, stated that it is unclear why the flights were diverted.
Later, the two flights took off from Surat.
On the same day that the airlines declared bankruptcy, this also happened. According to the airline’s CEO Kaushik Khona, Go First flights will remain cancelled on May 3, 4, and 5 due to a serious cash shortage.
The airline has alerted the government of the developments and will provide the aviation watchdog, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, with a thorough report.
