The box office performance of HanuMan, which features Teja Sajja in the lead role, is doing well, as seen by the numbers from its first six days of sales. According to news agency, the movie made Rs 11.50 crore on its opening Wednesday, bringing its total net receipts in India to Rs 80.46. Despite starting at a meagre Rs 8.05 crore on January 12, HanuMan was able to outperform even on non-holiday weekdays thanks to encouraging word-of-mouth. At this rate, it’s very likely that the Prasanth Varma-directed film would reach the coveted Rs 100 crore milestone by Sunday.

In terms of international earnings, the movie has made an estimated Rs $3.3 million in the US to far, placing it in the top 10 Telugu films that have made money in North America.
